Our Services

In all we do, MVP teaches and models the five moral values: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit. Additionally, MVP provides the following:

  • MVP Diamond Academy

    Our own private school

MVP operates its own small private school, MVP Diamond Academy, out of the Learning Center, the house next door to the Victorio’s.  Up to fifteen middle school students attend our school and receive exceptional standards-based lessons in all of the academic subjects. Through the years, many of our eighth grade graduates have gone on to college-prep high schools and then to universities. They are the first in their families to attend college and have become role models for siblings and peers.

  • High School Independent Study

    A private place to learn

MVP provides support and tutoring for high school students who are attending independent study programs. These students complete their daily lessons at MVP’s Learning Center.

  • After-school Program

    Bridging the gap

Monday through Thursday from 3:00 – 5:30, students from grades K – 12 come to the Learning Center to receive help on homework assignments. Our after school program provides a welcoming safe place to work on school work, as well as a snack and some outdoor play.

  • Basic Needs

    The essentials

MVP provides for the basic needs of the children as well. Children are fed, clothed, transported, and taken care of in innumerable daily ways.  If they are in need of sports equipment, school supplies, toiletries, or books, MVP steps in.

  • Advocacy

    Your voice

MVP advocates for children, the homeless, and the poor. MVP has been involved in town hall meetings, mayoral debates, conferences, seminars, and panels in the areas of children’s rights, education, and juvenile justice.
